Godstone and Caterham are close enough that many firms work in both, and different enough that a copied page helps neither. A website should say where you actually go. It should not become a directory of every village on the way to the M25.
The packages are on website design. Caterham on its own is in web design for Caterham. The search side for each town is SEO in Godstone and SEO for Caterham. This note is only about naming both on one site.
When both towns belong
Name Godstone if that is where the customers are. Add Caterham if you take work there often enough that a customer would not be surprised. Oxted, Bletchingley and Whyteleafe can be named the same way, in a sentence, when they are real rounds. A list that runs from Crawley to Croydon tells a visitor nothing about the journey or the minimum job.
A shop with one door should name that door. A van that covers both villages can say so in the opening paragraph. Those are different sites. Write for the one you are. Hours, if you publish them, should be the hours a customer can reach you, not a guess.
One page or two
If the service is the same in both places, one service page can mention both towns. A second town page is justified when the jobs, the photos or the limits differ. Swapping the place name in an otherwise identical page is the pattern to avoid. The test is written in service-area pages versus one homepage.
The homepage should link to each service by its real name, and carry a short coverage line. It should not hold the full text of every service and every village. Being found after those pages exist is SEO for the area. It is part of the build. It is not a promise of a position.
Where we work
The studio is at 109A Brighton Road, Coulsdon, CR5 2NG. We do not have a Godstone office, a Caterham shop, or a Surrey Hills headquarters. Your Google profile should use your address. Ours uses Coulsdon. Keeping those details consistent is described in name, address and phone.
Photos should be of your work. A stock green is not a substitute for a premises you do not have. If you are between signs, launch with the words and add pictures when they exist. We answer Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
The price does not change
Two towns do not create a fourth package. Starter is £150 for up to five pages. Business is £295 for up to fifteen. Growth is £495 for up to thirty. The first year of domain, hosting and SSL is included. Year two is about £60 to the providers. Most small sites are ready within two to four weeks of the words and pictures. The figures are in the cost guide.
If the page list grows because you insisted on a page per hamlet, the package grows with it. Cut the empty pages first. A thin page is not coverage. A finished list is also easier to edit later, because you know which URL holds the phone number.
What to send
Send the services and the towns you will actually name. If the list is a slogan, we will ask you to cut it before design starts. If you are comparing people, the questions are in how to choose a website designer and in why a village office is not the point.
